I'd love to have the book. How can I review this book, if I never received it.SEARCHED ALL THE WEB AND DID NOT FIND A WAY TO LET YOU KNOW THIS.What shall I do.
I didn't think so. For stress after one session I noticed myself clenching first automatically without thinking of it, something I had never done or thought of before doing the self-hypnosis.For procrastination it didn't do anything at all. While I was reading my mind was thinking do I really want to do all those activites. I was taking 5htp for sleep, but I noticed over time it was lowering my energy, focus, due to decreased dopamine levels. For others it has slower effectiveness if your conflicted, where part of you really wants to stop and other does not. After reading it I realized self hypnosis puts you in a trance where you subconscious is very suggestible. I tried this book due to thinking self hypnosis would knock me out so I could sleep. Even slowly reducing 5htp my sleep improved even after the first 10 minute session.Its effectiveness varies depending on how much you really want to change.
I highly recommend it. Of all the "self help" books I've ever read, this one is the most instantly gratifying. I've studied hypnosis for a long time, and this self hypnosis book really breaks the mould. I appreciate that the other books make you an expert on self hypnosis, but this book only requires that you are willing to read it; and that's enough to work the changes you want.
It is quite fun and I am very relaxed after hypnotising myself. procrastination etc. Great purchase. I bought this on a whim and I have to say that it's a great book. I do think it works - although I have no real evidence to back my claim up other than I am changing the bad habits I have been trying to get rid of, eg.
Well after a couple of sessions, I feel more confident in myself. I don't let people walk over me. I have trouble saying no to people. Now when someone needs my help, I say "No", Even at work. The mind is truly very powerful, I also like the idea the book shows you how to write your own hypnosis scripts, so you can take care on any problem you deal with. At work, friends, family, etc. I bought this book and immediately started with the "Self Confidence" script.
